LeTCC Work Day

Our 2024 Work Day is a much needed event to make campus sparkle for the incoming groups, guests, and campers we will have join us this summer. Each year we are so blessed with many volunteers who are willing to serve with our staff on this annual work day.  Truth be told, our volunteers really are the muscle that God uses to keep His ministry going.

FAQS

What are the requirements to volunteer at LeTourneau?

It is our goal at LeTourneau to make the steps to volunteer as simple as possible for those that would like to serve with us. If you are volunteering for the first time, we require you to complete a Volunteer Application before you join us. For the off-season months there is a small Safety Plan we have every volunteer read and sign annually. In the summer season when we have minors on campus (June 15th – August 31st), NYS requires that every staff member and volunteer is annually required to read and sign our Summer Safety Plan and receive a background check.

Is there a dress code?

The short answer is sometimes. When we have volunteers serving guests in the dining hall, many times our servers wear black pants and a black shirt for adult groups and jeans and a LeTCC t-shirt for youth groups. The kitchen and dish pit areas mainly require closed toed shoes and pants for safety purposes. For events, recreation, projects, grounds and maintenance we encourage closed toed shoes (for safety depending on where you are serving) and a LeTCC t-shirt if you have one. When you sign up to volunteer, we will clarify what the dress code is for your role.

How can I stay up to date on current volunteer opportunities at LeTCC?

To stay updated on volunteer opportunities with us, you can visit this site each month and check the volunteer opportunities towards the top of the page to see what is available. If you would like you can also sign up to receive weekly volunteer emails (less frequent during the slower seasons) to stay up to date on upcoming opportunities by CLICKING HERE to subscribe.
