Hear country-gospel singer and speaker, CHERI TAYLOR, who will sing and share her heart on “The Freedom of Forgiveness” for LeTourneau’s Blessed Hope women’s ministry program on Friday, Feb. 26, premiering at 11 AM on LeTourneau’s YouTube Channel. Cheri says it’s her mission to help people know they’re not alone, and that through the power of the Holy Spirit and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, there is hope and joy. Using touches of humor along the way, Cheri will speak from her many spiritual growth experiences over years of walking with Jesus. For a taste of what she will share, Cheri’s original music and blog writings, (“Heart Thoughts”) can be found on her website.
As a ministry arm of LeTourneau Christian Center along Canandaigua Lake, Blessed Hope serves women in all seasons of life. Christian speakers encourage women in living out their faith during the ladies luncheon program Blessed Hope hosts one Friday each month. Due to Covid-19 safeguards, the February 2021 program will be ONLINE ONLY, providing an unusual opportunity for Cheri to be with us from her hometown in Santa Claus, Indiana.
WHO IS CHERI TAYLOR?
For the past 40 years, Cheri has faithfully followed the path that God has set for her in ministry. Before becoming a solo performer and recording artist, she traveled with a local gospel group based near her hometown.
As a soloist, Cheri has won three gospel talent searches and has just released a new recording, Sing Hallelujah. Cheri is speaks on a wide range of Christ-centered topics and when she’s not actively engaged in her ministry efforts, she is heavily involved in service with her local church. Her husband Greg, works alongside of her in every phase of her ministry, whether at home or on the road.
“Greg has been so supportive of me”, Cheri said. “Even through times of discouragement, he’s been there, cheering me on.”
Cheri and Greg have two children, Heather and Philip, and four delightful grandchildren, she says, describing them as “beautiful, talented and I’m always anticipating how the Lord will use them for His glory”.
In the past few years Cheri has been part of a mission team that ministers in Jamaica.
