VICTORY IN JESUS!
Dear Faithful Supporters,
We praise God for your generous support of LeTourneau and the Lighting Our Future campaign to obtain the property deed. The goal of $600,000 for Phase One of the campaign has been reached. The transfer of the property from Family Life Ministries is being processed.
We thank God for providing many years of support by Family Life Ministries that brought us through several challenging years before LeTourneau was reorganized. Under this reorganization, LeTourneau has established financial independence and the transfer of the deed will let the ministry return to full independence.
God has plans for LeTourneau’s future. He has provided a new director, Jamie Fischer, with a vision to grow this ministry. Four hundred middle-schoolers and teens will be brought to camp by Hamburg Wesleyan Church this month. Many of these young people are from the inner city of Buffalo. Please pray with us that God will speak to hearts and many will receive Christ as Savior. We held a kids’ culinary camp this summer. One dad told me his daughter was giving him instruction on how to eat healthier meals. Next summer we hope to be able to offer a Day Camp; please contact Jamie Fischer for details.
There are more phases to our campaign. The first order of business is to replace a leaking roof on Avis and Gerri’s home. One of the central washrooms also must have the roof replaced before winter. The fire alarm system in the Lodge must be replaced. Please pray with us as our ministry staff grows, and facilities are upgraded or replaced and new opportunities to present God’s word arise.
Additional funds for the campaign will currently be used for closing costs on the deed transfer and the above mentioned immediate renovation needs. God is at work; thank you again for being a part of His team at LeTourneau.
Sincerely in Christ,
Duncan Rioch, Chairman
LeTourneau Board of Directors
